Data Deletion

BitAi Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. Your keys, your data, your control. This page explains how to delete any data BitAi Wallet stores on your behalf.

What data BitAi Wallet handles

BitAi Wallet runs no backend servers and stores no user accounts. We do not collect email addresses, names, phone numbers, or any personal information. All sensitive data lives on your device, encrypted by your system keystore.

Stored on your device

  • Encrypted private keys (held in your system's secure keystore via expo-secure-store)
  • Wallet addresses you've created or imported
  • Local transaction cache and balance history
  • App preferences (passcode hash, biometric setting, default chain)

Sent to third-party providers

  • Your public wallet address is sent to RPC providers (Alchemy, Moralis, QuickNode, Infura) to read on-chain balances and transaction history
  • Token contract addresses are sent to price providers (CoinGecko, DexScreener) to fetch USD values
  • All network requests use HTTPS encryption

How to delete your data

Step 1

Uninstall the app

Removing BitAi Wallet from your device wipes 100% of locally-stored data: private keys, wallet addresses, transaction cache, and preferences. This is irreversible — back up your seed phrase first if you want to restore the wallet later.

Step 2

Reset wallet from Settings

Open BitAi Wallet → Settings → Reset Wallet. This clears all local data without uninstalling the app. You'll be prompted to confirm and re-enter your passcode.

Step 3

Email request

For any additional data deletion requests, including questions about third-party provider data, email support@bitai.app. We'll respond within 7 business days.

On-chain blockchain data

Transactions, token transfers, and wallet activity are recorded permanently on public blockchains (BNB Chain, Ethereum). These are immutable by design and cannot be deleted by anyone — including BitAi Wallet. To stop linking new activity to an existing address, create a new wallet.

Third-party provider logs

RPC and price providers may retain request logs per their own privacy policies. BitAi Wallet does not control these logs. Review their policies directly: Alchemy, Moralis, QuickNode, Infura, CoinGecko, DexScreener.
